"Inspired by hiking in a forest of Aspens. I’ve always loved Aspens with their dancing leaves, their incredible change of colors, and their markings where branches once were. They seem to look back at me, like eyes with personalities. I like to think of them as our forest friends. Maybe I should have titled this piece, “Dancing With Friends.” I’ll save that title for another painting."
